A traditionally constructed Douglas fir frame, sourced from a local forest with a sedum wildflower green roof.
This Douglas fir timber frame has been set into the land in this remote location near Longleat forest. The large hardwood doors open the space and help to enhance the buildings’ multiple usage requirements.
The building went through ongoing design changes during its construction that we were able to implement smoothly without affecting the integral design of the frame. The green roof helps to subtly introduce this new construction into the remote countryside location surrounded by dense trees and grassland.
